Bill Gates is worth $53 billion -- but that wasn't enough to take the top spot on Forbes' World's Billionaires list this year.
The Microsoft head honcho was edged out by Mexican telecom mogul Carlos Slim Helu -- who is worth $53.5 bil.
Other celebs who made the list: George Lucas and Steven Spielberg (worth $3 billion a piece), Oprah Winfrey ($2.4 bil), and Harry Potter scribe J.K. Rowling, who's worth an estimated $1 billion.
