"Melrose Place" may be dead on the CW -- but star Katie Cassidy (left) has landed a new gig on the network.
According to EW, Cassidy will be moving to the Upper East Side this fall for a multi-episode arc on "Gossip Girl" -- where she'll play a love interest for Chace Crawford's character, Nate.
Katie's already getting close with the cast -- she's currently shooting "Monte Carlo" in Europe with "GG" star Leighton Meester (right).
