2012 is quickly drawing to a close, meaning it's our favorite time of year -- no, not the holidays per se, but holiday movies!

The Studios always save their big guns for November and December, in the hopes of keeping their films fresh in the minds of voters when Awards Season rolls around, and this year we have a lot to look forward to.

The 23rd James Bond film "Skyfall" kicks off the big Holiday Movie Season when it hits theaters this Friday, along with a limited release of Steven Spielberg's biopic "Lincoln" which expands next week ... when "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn -- Part 2" closes out the franchise.

There's a definite lack of family films being released this year -- which is odd for the Holidays -- but with so many movies, there's still something for everyone.

Click "Launch Gallery" above to see what other flicks we are looking forward to over the next seven weeks, including movies starring Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, and the return of Gollum!
