Brooke Burke is on the mend after a thyroidectomy.
The "Dancing with the Stars" host went under the knife yesterday after getting diagnosed with thyroid cancer ... and from the sound of it, everything went well.
"Thank God it's over. I'm clean, surgery went well & I can talk. Losing My voice was my biggest fear," she posted during a series of tweets this morning.
"I'm resting, recovering. Surgery went well. Dr Adashek is a genius. Thx Dr! Feels like I got hit by a car :( [sic]" she added.
The 41-year-old mom revealed doctors found a cancerous nodule on her thyroid back in November, telling her fans know what was going on in a heartfelt video.
At the time she said she'd have "a nice big scar" across her neck after the operation.
"F#@k Cancer! I'm recovering, I'm strong, I'm grateful for my brilliant Doctors," also also tweeted moments ago.
