It was an emotional night for Angie Miller on "American Idol," as she dedicated her song to those affected by the Boston Marathon bombings.
Miller, who grew up in Beverly just outside of the city, performed a touching tribute to her hometown by performing The Pretenders' "I'll Stand By You."
"This is for my home, Boston," Miller said before launching into the song while also playing the piano.
There were a few shaky moments, but three of the four judges still gave her a standing ovation.
"Praying for all of you in Boston right now, and to all the families of those who were injured," she tweeted earlier in the week. "My heart is going out to my home."
