Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson have officially gone public!
On Tuesday, the pair attended their first event together in New York City. Dating rumors circulated last month, when Simpson and Diana Ross' son, Evan, were spotted out together multiple times.
Ross and Simpson reportedly walked into the launch of the Jessica Simpson Fall 2013 Campaign hand-in-hand.
The blonde beauty met Ross in the Hollywood club scene, and sources tell Us Weekly that the twosome have been friends for a really long time.
Well, friendship is the foundation of love ... right? A source close to Ashlee also tells the mag that she is now romantically involved with Evan. "It helps that they were friends first. They have a long bond," the source revealed.
Simpson was previously dating with "Boardwalk Empire" star Vincent Piazza, but the two split in November 2012 after four years together.
Hopefully Ross gets along with Ashlee's son with ex-husband Pete Wentz, Bronx.
