Christian Siriano has an eye for beauty!
The "Project Runway" alum chatted with toofab's Brittany Kyles about all things fashion ... and even dessert?!
The designer is currently promoting his new collaboration with Magnum ice cream and helped create "America's Most Fashionable Chocolate Dessert."
Siriano teamed up with New York City's award winning chef Andrew Carmellini to create the stylish dish, which combines Magnum dark and milk chocolate with tropical fruit and edible flowers. Christian also used his favorite trends of the summer to make this the perfect guilty pleasure for the season.
"The idea for that, was we were taking inspiration from what I put on the runway and trends for the season -- everything from color blocking to embroidery lace. We wanted it to be something that was stylish, young and kind of cool," he added.
While we're loving Christian's sweet style, we wanted to know what fashion trends we can look forward to this fall.
"It's so interesting, because summer is so much about color, brightness, fun and playfulness. I think [fall] it's a little more glamorous and sophisticated. In my collection, and in all the collections, I've noticed an old return to polished glamour. So I think that's going to be there. A little bit of dressing up is there too, I think women everywhere will be putting a look together a bit more," he revealed.
The 28-year-old -- who shot to fame on "Project Runway" -- still keeps in touch with the show's host, Heidi Klum. You can even catch the designer on the fashion reality series very, very soon.
"I still see her, and I was a guest judge for this season. So I was with her a couple days ago. She's really great, she is such a wonderful person and a great supporter, and I have dressed her so many times. She's great to work with and I just love her," he gushed.
Christian has also dressed a ton of other A-list stars, so who's the easiest to work with? "There have been so many stars that I have worked with, and loved dressing. I have worked with Christina Hendricks for a long time now and I love making clothes for her she is so beautiful and amazing," he said.
"I recently dressed Susan Sarandon, who also was so easy and she looked so chic. We also made Kate Upton a dress and it was really easy, no fitting and it was done. Everyone is different though, you never know what is going to happen, but I have had good luck so far."
But if Siriano had to name a few of his favorite Hollywood style icons, there are a number of leading ladies who top his list.
"There are just so many – everyone from Lupita [Nyong'o], who is looking amazing on the red carpet, to the wonderful Blake Lively, I think she has great style and I love that she styles herself. I think even Jennifer Lopez looks great, and she wears our clothes a lot and she always looks beautiful. I love Cate Blanchett, she is so chic and amazing on the red carpet. I think there are a lot of really stylish actors and musicians right now and people are really playing with fashion, which is exciting to see," he explained.
