Talk about a case of life imitating art!
Jennifer Garner revealed more than she intended on the red carpet last night, showing off her Spanx at the premiere of "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day."
It looks like the actress' Oscar de la Renta clutch got caught on the bottom of her black Valentino dress, as she accidentally lifted up one side of the skirt while posing for photos with costar Steve Carell.
The film adaptation of the popular kids book follows the problem-filled lives on one very unlucky family after a birthday wish curses them for an entire day -- and this is precisely something that would happen in the flick!
While promoting the film, Garner opened up about the importance of having a couple off-days.
"It's okay to have the whole range of emotions," she said during a press conference. "You should have it all: rage and anger and sadness, so there is a lot of room for joy and happiness as well."
Looks like she laughed this wardrobe malfunction off just fine.
"Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" opens October 10.
