Talk about a close call!
Chrissy Teigen suffered a major wardrobe malfunction at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards at the Lincoln Center in NYC on Monday.
The Sports Illustrated model stunned on the red carpet before the show, wearing a strapless white Solace London "Chaka" maxi dress. Teigen styled her long locks straight and finished her look with tear-drop diamond earrings, black sandals and a sparkly clutch.
While Mrs. John Legend looked picture perfect before the show, things took a turn for the worse when Chrissy ripped the slit in the front part of her gown.
"Wardrobe malfunction of the highest caliber. Let's just say the slit took it upon itself to rip 5 inches higher. Thank you @stuartweitzman for letting me be your date and for always making my feet happy and legs sexy!!! #CFDAawards (edit: do you guys know what a shadow is? Those are not nipples. I know what my nipples look like. You don't. Well maybe you do. But those aren't them.)," she posted on Instagram with a shot of her torn dress.
Luckily, it looked like the 29-year-old was able to conceal her modesty with her hands and that killer clutch!
The brunette beauty wasn't the only star who had a wardrobe malfunction at the CFDA Fashion Awards -- Kim Kardashian tweeted that her custom Proenza Schouler dress caught on fire!
"S/o to Pharrell & [his wife] Helen! After the awards the feathers of my dress caught on fire & they jumped on me to get it out," the expecting star posted on Monday.
Yikes -- at least both Chrissy and Kim were able to make it through the night with these dress disasters getting caught on camera!
