That's what friends are for!
Josh Brolin was sporting some unusual facial hair during his appearance on "The Tonight Show" on Tuesday night.
"The next movie I'm doing is a 1970s porn," the actor joked about why he was rocking a thick mustache. "I'm doing research."
"Somebody just went 'Ew,'" he laughed at the crowd's response.
Brolin grew the stache for his role in "Legacy of a Whitetail Deer Hunter," which also required him to pack on 40 pounds. He agreed that it wasn't his best look as he unbuttoned his shirt to reveal his pot belly!
As his guest continued to talk about his new movie, host Jimmy Fallon pulled out an electric razor with the hope of giving Josh a last-minute makeover.
"Come on dude, come on, just let me," he begged.
It took some convincing but Brolin agreed to let Jimmy take off half of his mustache. "This is great, now you can play two characters at once," Fallon joked of his half-shaved face.
"The '70s porn," Josh said of his mustachioed side ... "And 'Oh my God I love the Goonies,'" he exclaimed of the smooth half.
Later on, Fallon ditched the electric razor and went in to finish the job with shaving cream and a real blade. You've gotta see it all go down!
