AMC just sent Hall H into a frenzy at Comic-Con, where they just debuted the first trailer from Season 7 of "The Walking Dead."
The season finale ended on a MAJOR cliffhanger, as viewers were left wondering just whose head Negan would bash in with his trusty, barb wire-wrapped bat, Lucille.
Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, Carl, Abraham, Aaron, Eugene, Sasha and Rosita are among the many options... but don't expect the sneak peek below to give anything away.
"I'm gonna beat the holy hell out of one of you," we hear Negan say, before we get sweet flashbacks from each character on the chopping block, reminding us all why we'll care if any of them is the one to go.
No surprise here, but his target remains a mystery for now, as we see him tease each of them with his weapon of choice. There's a quick shot of him delivering a brutal blow, but we can't tell who he's hitting. Worth noting it looks like Maggie is in front of him when he's doing it, so it's probably not her.
We also get glimpses of those we know are safe, namely Carol, Morgan and everyone else back in Alexandria. The trailer also includes the first shots of the Kingdom, their leader Ezekiel and his pet tiger, Shiva.
When the show returns, Jeffrey Dean Morgan's Big Bad, Tom Payne's Jesus, Austin Amelio's Dwight and Xander Berkeley's Gregory will all be upped to series regulars, so expect to see a lot more of them as well.
We'll have more updates from the press conference and panel from Comic-Con later today!
"The Walking Dead" returns Sunday, October 23 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. The season will air in two parts, with eight episodes starting in October and the back eight airing in February 2017.
