Katy Perry celebrated her 32nd birthday by going back in time.
The "Firework" singer had one incredibly over-the-top birthday bash on Saturday night in Los Angeles, throwing a sock hop-themed event packed that put all other b-day parties to shame.
The soiree was held at "Hudson High," a nod to Perry's real last name. The event included a full marching band, lunch ladies and cafeteria-style dining, the largest game of Twister we've ever seen and a gymnasium dance featuring performances by Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe.
The birthday girl dressed up as a school principal for the party, while her boyfriend **Orlando Bloom** sported short shorts and a varsity jacket as part of his jock costume. **Kate Hudson** was also spotted at the event, looking gorgeous in a **Marc Jacobs** leather jacket and skirt. Check out some of the images she shared in Instagram below -- what a party, right?!
