Kris Jenner was reduced to tears during a recent interview.
In a sneak peek at this week's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," the reality star sits down with her mother M.J. to ask her a few on-camera questions for a legacy video.
"I decided to ask my mom the questions after all, but I'm nervous,” explains Kris, who apparently had doubts about participating in the project. "I don't want to make this a sad or emotional experience for my mom."
Little did she know she was going to be the one reaching for the tissues.
Things start off innocently enough with Kris asking her mom what year she was born and how old she was when she had her first kiss.
But they take an unexpected turn when M.J. turns the tables on Kris after the momager asks the great grandmother about her biggest fear.
"Biggest fear…I try not to fear," says M.J. "What's your biggest fear?"
Kris is caught off guard and immediately becomes emotional.
"I don't want to say it," she says, quickly tearing up.
"Why did you ask me that? I can't believe I'm crying," an upset Kris continues. "Just losing someone."
Watch the video (above) to see how M.J. and Kris' famous daughters (who watch the interview from another room) react to Kris' emotional breakdown.
A description of the new episode says "Kris gets emotional upon recognizing her mom won't be around forever," so that's likely why she gets upset.
