"Girlfriends Guide to Divorce" star Lisa Edelstein set off a firestorm over Alan Thicke's death in less than 140 characters.
Like most celebrities, the actress reacted to the news of the "Growing Pains" star's untimely passing on Twitter. But her tweet sparked extreme backlash with some accusing her of being "insensitive" for politicizing the news by referencing president-elect Donald Trump.
