John Cena stole the show at WrestleMania 33 Sunday night when he proposed to longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella, a popular WWE Diva.
The World Heavyweight Champion has said numerous times in the past that marriage was not something he wanted to delve into again, but the 39-year-old WWE Superstar clearly had a change of heart.
"I have been waiting so long to ask you this," Cena said to a stunned Bella, presenting her with an impressive rock. "Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace, will you marry me?"
Nikki's twin sister Brie -- who is expecting her first child with husband Daniel Bryan -- instantly tweeted her excitement for her sister and soon-to-be bother-in-law.
"Happy tears!!!! They always felt married to me but to see it...wow!!! Welcome to the family @JohnCena"
After an eventful evening ending in The Undertaker's dramatic retirement announcement, Cena tweeted: "I want to thank my always expressive "family" the @WWEUniverse for allowing me to have a #WrestleMania moment that I will NEVER forget!"

An elated Nikki also posted a slew of images on Instagram, captioning one of them: "I never thought I would use this emoji. A dream come true! My Prince Charming has made me his Queen in a place we call home. I'll never, ever forget this moment!"
