There's been a lot of she said, she said surrounding Caitlyn Jenner's upcoming book.
Jenner sat down with Good Morning America Monday to talk her new memoir, The Secrets of my Life, specifically addressing that Kris Jenner claims everything she says is all made up.
"First of all, I feel like the book is extraordinarily honest," Caitlyn said. "It is my perspective, and obviously when you do a book like that there are different opinions. I have a lot of friends that know the truth and know what I’ve been through and know the whole situation."
GMA aired a clip from a KUWTK episode where Kris Jenner claims she was made out to be "a bitch and an asshole" claiming she "read (the book) and basically the only nice thing she had to say was that I was great socially at a party one time."
"Hey, it’s a reality show, it is drama, but I’m just kind of sorry she went down that road. But she’s a good person, and we’ve had 23 great years together and raised wonderful, phenomenal kids."
A few excerpts from the book have already been released, and the Kardashian-Jenner clan is apparently less than pleased. Kris Jenner made it clear in the clip that she's not willing to fight to see Caitlyn's side.
"I really tried hard to improve the relationship and spend a little bit of time, thinking maybe there's something here that I'm not seeing," Kris said. "I've done nothing but open up my home and my heart to a person who doesn't give a shit. So, I'm done."
The "I Am Cait" star also noted that her relationship with the Kardashian kids is better in some places than in others. Recent clips from KUWTK have shown that Caitlyn and Khloe Kardashian are not always on great terms.
"You know, when you go through something like this, you always hope for the best and it could not have been any better. My kids have been absolutely great," she said. "Now, you're certainly closer with some than you are with the others, but that’s always in any relationship."
Caitlyn's memoir "The Secrets of My Life" is available everywhere Tuesday, April 25.
