An Oscar and Grammy-winning "American Idol" alum is jumping over to "The Voice."
Jennifer Hudson will join Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Miley Cyrus as a coach for the show's thirteenth season, alongside host Carson Daly. This will be Cyrus' second time coaching, after first joining the show in Season 11.
While Blake and Adam have been mainstays for every season since the show's premiere, the other two seat fillers have rotated between Christina Aguilera, Shakira, Gwen Stefani and Alicia Keys in the past. Keys and Stefani are on the show's current season.

Hudson made her reality TV debut back in 2004, when she appeared on the third season of "American Idol." Despite getting eliminated extremely early in her season, she went on to become a household name thanks to her Oscar-winning role in "Dreamgirls." She later won a Grammy, did "The Color Purple" on Broadway and, most recently, starred in NBC's live production of "Hairspray."
