Michelle Rodriguez wanted to make one thing clear: her negative comments about the “Fast and Furious” franchise were in no way a reference to her co-star Vin Diesel.

In a video posted on the actor’s Instagram page Friday, the two side-hugged as she praised him for his support of “strong women.”

“Vin, for many years you've been the biggest supporter of strong women,” she said in the video as Diesel kissed her head in response. “And I’ve always appreciated that about you throughout the years and just know if I ever post anything, that’s not you I’m talking to.”

“Of course it’s not me,” he responded in laughter.

The Instagram post comes after Rodriguez threatened to leave the franchise over its continued representation of women.

"F8 is out digitally today, I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one," she captioned a photo on Instagram. "Or I just might have to say goodbye to a loved franchise. It's been a good ride & Im grateful for the opportunity the fans & studio have provided over the years."
