"Yo, I’ll tell you what I want, what I really, really want. I want a, I want a, I want a" bunch of A-list actors to dramatically read “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls for the song’s 21st anniversary on Friday.
W Magazine made our inner teenage dream come true by gathering Nicole Kidman, Millie Bobby Brown, Milo Ventimiglia, James Franco and Riz Ahmed to give their best impersonation of the 1996 hit for the magazine's Lyrical Improv series.
Kidman chose to recite her portion with a sultry reading as she seductively looks into the camera, while Franco couldn’t keep a straight face as he attempted to spell it out in a New Jersey accent.
But of all of the stars involved, "Stranger Things" actress Brown was actually the most excited to yell out her portion, even though the song was dropped eight years before she was born.
"I’m obsessed with the Spice Girls," Brown said before breaking out in song. “I like Sporty Spice and I usually was Sporty Spice, but I do have a soft, soft spot for Posh!”
