In honor of the 20th anniversary release of "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone", J.K. Rowling has announced the release of two new books, set to hit shelves Oct. 20.
Rowling has collaborated with publisher Bloomsbury and the British Library to give her fans the ultimate unveiling of more Hogwarts secrets.
According to Bloomsbury, "Harry Potter: A History of Magic – The Book of the Exhibition" will showcase "a treasure trove of artifacts from the British Library and other collections around the world."
Readers will be able to visualize "ancient spell books, amazing illuminated scrolls that reveal the secret of the Elixir of Life, vials of dragon’s blood, mandrake roots, painted centaurs and a genuine witch’s broomstick."
"Harry Potter: A Journey Through A History of Magic" is said to take readers on a "journey through the Hogwarts curriculum, including Herbology, Defence Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, Divination and more."
The release of these books coincides with the opening of the "A History of Magic" exhibit at the British Library, which will be open from October through February.
