Kristin Cavallari is kicking off New York Fashion Week with an annual party that will showcase her Fall/Winter Uncommon James collection.
"I've done it for my shoe line in the past and now I'm incorporating my jewelry as well, so I'm excited," Cavallari told TooFab in Los Angeles Wednesday.
With so much inspiration surrounding the former "Hills" star all week, Cavallari hopes to one day watch her sparkly designs walk down the runway with a few NYFW favorites.
"Well I love Balmain, you know, but price point is a little different for us," she said. "I love Tom Ford, I love Versace... but again, we're on a much different scale."
Although price does play a factor when shopping for new clothes, Cavallari suggests keeping it simple this season with lots of layers, thigh high boots and accessories such as scarves, hats and layered chokers that compliments your physique.
"No matter what season, I think it's more about dressing for your body type than what necessarily looks good on the runway. I mean I'm only 5'3, I'm short, I'm petite so what looks good on these super tall models doesn't necessarily look good on me so I think it's really about really knowing your body, really knowing what looks good on you."
