"Stop normalizing Sean Spicer and the harm that he's done to the American people," writes one disappointed fan.

James Corden is going to regret taking this photo.

The "Late Late Show" host was photographed giving former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer a kiss on the cheek backstage at the Emmy Awards on Sunday night, immediately sparking backlash all over social media.

The photo was taken after Spicer made a cameo during host Stephen Colbert's opening monologue, shocking the audience and causing controversy online after many critics slammed the show for helping "normalize" his image after being Donald Trump's mouthpiece. "Scrubs" star Zach Braff was among the critics saying he wasn't "ready to laugh 'with' Sean Spicer. I think he is an evil, opportunistic liar that hurt our country."

The online slams quickly started rolling in Corden's direction after the above photo started making the rounds on Twitter, with fans calling him a "wanker" and "a massive disappointment" for "validating lying assholes."
