Bachelor & Bachelorette Couples: After the Show

Peter Kraus. That’s all we needed to hear.

If you're like us, you've been counting down to the Winter Olympics since 2014. But also, if you're like us, with news of the new "The Bachelor Winter Games," you've completely forgotten the Olympics are a thing.

In what will be “Bachelor Pad” meets Winter Olympics, here’s everything we know so far about "The Bachelor Winter Games:"

Competition

If you were a fan of the short lived “Bachelor Pad,” you can imagine the concept of "Winter Games."

"Challenges, sports, competition" will all be in play according to Fleiss. The winter theme makes us think, ice skating, snowball fights, and dog sled races.

Peter Kraus

Fan favorite, and former front-runner to be the next Bachelor, Peter Kraus has joined the cast. "Yes, Peter will be looking for love – and going for the gold – on #TheBachelor Winter Games!!" creator Mike Fleiss tweeted.

Fans rallied on social media to get the Wisconsin native to land the coveted role in the upcoming season of "The Bachelor," only to be heartbroken when news came that Arie Luyendyk Jr would be wearing the crown when the season premieres in January. But news that we get to see that salt and pepper hair again come February 2018 definitely eased the pain.

Unfamiliar Faces

While Bachelor Nation has grown used to seeing recycled faces from season to season, "Winter Games" is shaking things up. "Sexy international Bachelors and Bachelorettes from dozens of countries that also produce The Bachelor" will be competing to find love.

Robert Mills, the Senior VP at ABC, told The Hollywood Reporter, "Bachelor Japan, Bachelor Australia, Bachelor Canada, and Bachelor U.K." will all be represented in the Winter Games. "We’re really excited to see if we can have some international romances as well as competition in U.S. versus the world."

Location

With a name like Winter Games, you have to imagine lots and lots of snow. Well it has been confirmed that Bachelor Nation will be trading in the sand of Mexico for the snow of Vermont.

It will be a Bachelor doubleheader with Arie’s season debuting in January 2018, and Winter Games beginning in February.
