How Golden Globes Nominees Are Rejoicing on Twitter
Inside the Golden Globes 2017 After-Parties

"Stranger Things" star David Harbour promises dancing if he wins a Golden Globe.

The Golden Globes just made the Dancing Hopper Twitter meme more timely than ever, as both "Stranger Things" and actor David Harbour made the cut when Alfre Woodard, Garrett Hedlund, Kristen Bell and Sharon Stone announced the nominees Monday morning.

And you better hope Harbour wins, because he's already promised to do the signature dad dance on stage if he wins when the ceremony airs on NBC Sunday, Jan. 7. And that'd be great, because it looks like the original GIF has been removed from Twitter due to copyright infringement, so the internet is in desperate need of a replacement.

This year's top nominees include "The Shape of Water," "The Post," "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri," "Big Little Lies," "Get Out" and "Lady Bird."

Here's how your favorite stars and their famous friends reacted to the exciting news on Twitter.

"The Greatest Showman"

"The Disaster Artist"

"Shape of Water"

"I, Tonya"

"Battle of the Sexes"

"Baby Driver"

"The Big Sick"

Kumail Nanjiani's comedy "The Big Sick" didn't make the cut, so the actor expressed his disappointment through humor on Twitter.

"The Deuce"

"Ray Donovan"

"This Is Us"

"I Love Dick"

"Will & Grace"

"Stranger Things"
