The Worst 'Dancing With The Stars' Contenders of All Time

Savchenko also tells TooFab he's down to dance with former figure skater Tonya Harding if she was cast on "Dancing with the Stars."

"Dancing With the Stars" pro Gleb Savchenko revealed that Morgan Larson will be replacing his co-star Witney Carson on the ABC dancing competition show's winter tour.

TooFab caught up with Savchenko Wednesday on the "Father Figures" premiere red carpet, where he sent his prayers to Carson and talked about how the tour will go down now that she is out.

"Well, we spoke to her and unfortunately she had to leave the tour because her father-in-law is really, really sick and she decided that she needs to spend more time with the family," Savchenko told TooFab. "Family comes first and our hearts go out to her and we pray that he'll be better and he'll recover and he'll fight through, but we will miss her."

"She missed the last tour when she was supposed to be in it and she is missing this one that has everyone in it, but Morgan is covering her so it will be fun," he added.

ABC confirmed to TooFab Thursday morning that Larson will be filling in, and Carson's partner last season Frankie Muniz will also continue his journey on the tour.

Carson took to Instagram Wednesday to announce her departure from the tour due to her father-in-law, Kevin McAllister, battling pancreatic cancer.

My sweet father-in-law has been dealing with pancreatic cancer for the last year and a half. A few days ago he was having stomach issues & was unable to keep anything down. His doctors decided to do an exploratory surgery to find the problem, which we thought was just a minor issue. Unfortunately, we were completely wrong. The cancer has spread throughout his entire abdomen. We are so blindsided and still in shock... The doctors have explained there is nothing that they can do and have told us that we only have a few weeks with him before the cancer takes his life. After much heartache and discussion, Kevin has decided to fight it and try another aggressive chemotherapy treatment. My heart hurts to tell you all that I will not be able to do the DWTS tour this winter. This is an extraordinarily difficult time for us, I hope all of you can understand that my place is here with my family. Right now, my focus needs to be on my family & especially on my husband. I want to wish my partner, Frankie, and the whole tour an amazing run. I love my fans & I feel so devastated that I can't be there, but know that my heart is there with you ❤️

Regardless of the cast shakeup, Savchenko is promising an entertaining show.

"The tour's going to be great," Savchenko said. "We're opening the show on the 30th. We've been rehearsing for about a week and a half now, super exciting. It's going to be the biggest tour yet. We have 12 dancers and 2 celebrities."

As for the next season of "Dancing With the Stars," which will only feature all-star athlete contestants, Savchenko is hoping to be paired with an Olympic champion figure skater, who is not too old and not too young and also has a little bit of dance experience.

When asked if he'd be interested in getting paired with Tonya Harding, the pro was definitely game. "Totally, that would be amazing!"
