JT's new single isn't for everyone. See what the fans and haters are saying.

Justin Timberlake released his comeback track "Filthy" at midnight Friday and fans were completely split over the artist's new sound and accompanying sci-fi dance video by morning.

"First I thought JT's new song 'Filthy' was trash. Upon second listen, I think it's garbage," one listener wrote on Twitter.

"Same people not feeling 'Filthy' weren't ready for 'Sexy Back' either. Now it's in their top five," one of Timberlake's defenders tweeted.

"Filthy" is the first song released on the 36-year-old performer's new album called "Man of the Woods," which he described as his most "personal" yet and will be released two days before Timberlake's highly anticipated Super Bowl Halftime Show performance on Feb. 4.

"This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I've ever written where I'm from, and it's personal," Timberlake said in the sneak peek promo he dropped Tuesday morning. "Man of the Woods" will be Timberlake's first studio album in over four years.
