After pressing the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star on meeting with a divorce attorney, he asks her why it took so long to visit Joe Giudice in prison.
First, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star addressed her recent Instagram photo with divorce attorney Loren La Forge-Kyriakoulis. It was captioned, "getting great advice," which led many of her fans to believe she was divorcing her husband Joe Guidice while he was serving time in prison for mail, wire and bankruptcy fraud.
"It was my friend," she said. "It was my friend and [Melissa] was there, too."
"I was helping her, just in case," she added. "If anybody's getting divorced, she's a great divorce attorney to call. Get it? I was helping her. Yes. Capisce? Capisce."
But host Andy Cohen wasn't going to let her just sweep this one under the rug, because he felt like she made it look like she was getting the advice.
"I changed the caption because everybody's like, 'Oh, you're getting a divorce?'" she said. "It's like c'mon. It's like everybody always thinks the worst."
So Cohen then asked why it took the reality star eight months to visit her husband in prison.
"I don't know if it was eight months," Guidice said. "My mom got sick so I didn't see him the whole time my mom was sick, those three months. I remember the one day I was going to see him, that's when my dad got sick, and then I had to turn around and go back. Then there was a chicken pox breakout there, in the prison, so we weren't allowed to go see him -- that was like a whole month. Oh, and then they found contraband from other inmates."
And although Guidice said she does often find herself missing her husband, she admitted that she really doesn't enjoy going back to prison to visit him.
"Even when I was [in prison], I was like, 'Don't come,'" she said.
