P!nk powered through a flu to deliver the National Anthem on Super Bowl Sunday in Minneapolis, and she gave fans a performance for the ages, if the social media response is any indication.
"I have two small Petri dish kids who literally cough INTO MY MOUTH and rub their snot on my cheek," she wrote Saturday Instagram, sharing a photo from rehearsals. "I've been waiting to sing this song since 1991 when I saw my idol, Whitney Houston, own this song."

There were almost no indications of weakness in her powerful vocals, save one moment of struggle at the high note that she quickly recovered from, and her passion poured through every second of her moment.
P!nk also didn't have time for the haters. Several of them took to Twitter to allege that she disrespected the moment by spitting out a wad of gum before her performance, but this is a woman battling the flu. It wasn't gum at all, and P!nk took to Twitter herself after the performance to set the record straight and put the haters in their place.
