James lets his true feelings about his ex slip out.
On Monday's episode, some of the cast took a trip to Big Bear, where James kept taking small jabs at Lala until she finally exploded.
"Knock it the f-ck off!" she fired at James. "What is your problem? Stop coming for me. I'm over it!"
By this point, James was clearly drunk. "Tell me, tell me, what's the problem?" he asked.
"I'm tripping about one thing, and one thing only," Lala replied. "What makes me upset is the way you speak to people. Let's have a conversation like friends do. Are we friends or are not?"
James paused, said "ummm, nah," then went outside to smoke. James' girlfriend, Raquel, met him outside and asked if him if the reason he "antagonizes" Lala is because he still has feelings for her. James denied it, but as Lala mentioned earlier in the episode, Raquel is not the first person to suspect that.
"Lala's walking around thinking she's better than other people, and you can't blame her because with her boyfriend comes the high life," James explained to Bravo cams. "But without him, the Range Rover's not there, the Chanel's not there and the private jet's not there, either."
Raquel then went back inside, and Lala joined James on the porch. "Why do you feel like you need to come for me in the way that you come for me?" Lala asked.
"How did I come for you? 'Cause I called your man fat?" James replied.
"And you say it again! And you say it again!" Lala fired back. "Shut the f-ck up! You talk about my man one more goddamn time, I'm gonna f-cking draw blood from your face! Sit the f-ck down, bitch. I have told you things I have never told anyone, and sometimes you use that against me. Please stop doing that."
James continued to defend himself and deny that he's ever gone after Lala or her boyfriend.
"I know that you and I were intimate at one point," Lala said. "But I need you to stop coming for me. Stop coming for my man."
James then got up in Lala's face and said, "I have a negative view on that man because he put the one I love in jeopardy. So then when you've now come to a place where you're finally happy and you're talking about a future together and a house -- beautiful things that I want. I've loved you, so you have to understand, Lala, I'm not used to it yet."
"Vanderpump Rules" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
