More Celebrity Siblings

The two actors communicate with their transgender sibling, who passed away in 2016.

Alexis Arquette gave her siblings a message from the other side during a reading with "Hollywood Medium" Tyler Henry.

In a preview clip from Wednesday's new episode of the E! series, David and Rosanna Arquette sit down with the psychic to connect with Alexis, who passed away at the age of 47 in 2016 after suffering a heart attack. Her battle with HIV, endocarditis and cardiomyopathy were contributing factors to her death.

"I keep heading sister, sister, sister, sister, I don't know what this is but there's like a double meaning to this that I'm trying to pick up on," Henry said during the reading. "There's a feeling like I wish I could stick around longer because this is when I would have had opportunities. They're showing me like fashion shows, references to my picture being taken and photography. And all this stuff, I don't know if this was stuff that was planned on in the works. Where does that apply for you guys?"

Rosanna knew exactly what Henry was referring to.

"We had a sibling that passed away a year ago yesterday. Alexis, who was our transgender sister, but was very comfortable, was both, at the end, it didn't matter," Rosanna explained. "So a year ago yesterday died and Alexis came out 20 years ago and was the famous person who was a boy who wanted to be a girl and was a pioneer. I think it was sad because it's more accepted now and Alexis would be doing such incredible work."

Before she passed, Alexis referred to herself as "gender suspicious" and lived as both man and woman.

"Despite passing at what I would consider to be untimely, there's a feeling of acceptance. This person gives me this feeling of, I was OK to go before I died, there's feeling like I thought about this before. This almost is like someone who would have taken into consideration that they might not live a full life," Henry continued.

"There's a sense of peace before I pass, and a knowingness around this like of 'I'm ok, I'm fine, I knew. and I'm OK,'" he added.

David Arquette named his son, Augustus Alexis Arquette, in memory of his late sibling.

"My family is happy to have [Alexis'] legacy live on," he told Page Six. "We're keeping her spirit alive. It hurts to talk about her sometimes because I miss her. But this is bigger than both of us, and I still think she is around — I sense her sometimes."
