'America's Next Top Model' Cycle 24: Meet the Models

In keeping with the week's "throwback comeback" theme, Tyra has a big surprise for contestants -- and it doesn't work out so well for one of them.

Tuesday's "America's Next Top Model" was nothing short of shocking.

In keeping with the week's "throwback comeback" theme, Tyra Banks decided to bring back the girls who were eliminated this season to fight for a spot in the final four.

After walking in a runway show while in plastic bubbles à la Cycle 16, Erin, Liberty, Christina and Jeana, were welcomed back to the house and given the opportunity to compete in the week's photo shoot alongside finalists Khrystyana, Rio, Shanice and Kyla.

And if that wasn't crazy enough, the photo shoot involved posing with a live turantula and $5 million worth of diamonds.

There to help the ladies keep their cool was Cycle 3 winner and "Real Housewives of Atlanta" newcomer Eva Marcille, who won best photo back in her day for the very same challenge. Oh, and the girls were shot by "noted fashion photographer Nigel Baker" (read in Tyra's voice) because it wouldn't be a throwback episode without him.

Because it's not "Top Model" unless it's dramatic, some of the girls were paired up (coincidentally...?) with their enemies. Rio was paired with Jeana, who was once her only friend, and Shanice was paired with Christina.

"I honestly would rather shoot with the spider because the spider isn't poisonous; Christina is," Shanice said during her confessional. Unfortunately for both Rio and Shanice, their competition outshined them.

In the end, Jeana ended up dethroning Rio to join Kyla, Khrystyana and Shanice in the race to becoming America's next top model.

"America's Next Top Model" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on VH1.
