Jax Taylor begins to regret his decision to break up with Brittany Cartwright -- but it might just be too late.
Monday night's episode followed the aftermath of said decision, and by the end of it, Jax was crying to his therapist.
Jax at the beginning of Monday's episode: "I feel like there was just so much damage, it was almost a loss cause, and I want Brittany to be happy at the end of the day. And I don't see her happy, and I feel like this is the one thing I can do to maybe fix that."
Jax at the end of Monday's episode: "I thought the right thing to do would be to end things, like, to let her start fresh, let her move on and be with somebody that can give her all the things that I can't, but I don't know if this is what I want. I don't know if I made the right decision."
Reminder: Jax cheated on Brittany.
While Jax was busy whining to Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval, Brittany was actually starting to enjoy her life as a single woman. She packed a few things and crashed at a hotel with a childhood friend for a couple nights. She kept up her shifts at SUR and even went to Lala Kent's performance debut alongside DJ James Kennedy -- an event put on by Lala's former enemy, Stassi Schroeder. Lala slayed her performance, and Brittany slayed the outfit she was wearing, putting on full display the double Ds Jax gifted her earlier in their relationship.
"Thanks for the boob job, asshole," Brittany joked. This was the first time Brittany was not only OK with the idea of not being with Jax, she embraced it.
In the words of Kristen Doute, "Halle-fucking-lujah."
Although Brittany was "embarrassed" that Jax broke up with her after putting her through an emotional wringer, she was ready to move on. And what better way to move on than by flirting with the hot new barback, Adam?
"I sent him a DM on Instagram," Brittany told Kristen. "I sent him my number, and I said, 'Text me.'"
The two seemed to really hit it off at Lala's performance, so maybe Replacement Jax is here to stay?
"I am just completely disgusted in Jax," Brittany told Bravo cams. "He has betrayed me in so many ways, and I just need to put myself first for once because trying to live for Jax and make sure that Jax is happy has done shit for me." Yaaaaas, queen!
"Vanderpump Rules" airs Mondays at 7 p.m. on Bravo.
