"I can't say that's an image I'll ever forget," Johansson says of the embarrassing shot.
Colin Jost looked picture perfect alongside girlfriend Scarlett Johansson’s for their first red carpet together at the "Avengers: Infinity War" premiere, but a photo from his past just came back to haunt him.
Johansson appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Tuesday, where the host dug up a throwback photo she was not prepared for.
First, Ellen brought up ScarJo's recent "Saturday Night Live" hosting gig to bring up her new boo, complimenting the actress for her Ivanka Trump impersonation. Then, she went in for the good stuff. "That 'Weekend Update,' those two guys, those fellas are really good," Ellen teased. "Who’s your favorite? Do you like Colin or do you like Michael?"
"No, it's not that hard to pick," she responded. "I guess I'm a Colin fan, I have to say." After Ellen then called him "adorable" and "funny," she brought up the shocking, bearded photo.
"There's a picture that John Mulaney -- who was fantastic hosting 'Saturday Night Live' last week -- but he posted a picture, a throwback I guess, when he was a writer and that's Colin with a beard," Ellen explained. "I thought it was like a disguise but that’s really what he looks like. Right? Had you seen that?"
"I mean I can't unsee it now," Johansson replied. "Oh no! I can't say that that's an image that I'll ever forget."
The "Avengers" star also revealed her own daughter won't soon forget her mom's Black Widow ways, as the three year old actually thinks mama "fights people for a living" outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
"If you ask her what I do for a living, she says 'Mommy’s a superhero.' And then one day a couple of -- actually, it was not that long ago -- I think we had taken a break in shooting 'Infinity War' because it was an extremely long shoot and I was going into the office," Johansson told Ellen. "Like, I was not doing anything film-related. I was like 'All right, I'll see you later honey. Mommy needs to go to work. And she was like 'Who are you fighting?'"
"I don't know if that's a good thing," she joked.
"Avengers: Infinity War" hits theaters Friday.
