Travolta teaches Fallon how to groove like "greased lightning."
John Travolta’s still got his electrifying "Grease" dance moves.
Travolta came on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about his new film "Gotti," but the conversation rolled over to his most beloved movie, "Grease" celebrates its 40 year anniversary this month.
Fallon admitted he was totally "fangirling" out over the 64-year old actor's first appearance on his show, which led to an impromptu dance lesson on Wednesday's show. Regarding the show-stopping number "You're the One That I Want," Travolta revealed he actually helped choreograph the infamous move he called the "four corners."
"Like in 'Pulp Fiction,' I grew up with all these novelty dances. So in 'Grease,' they needed a step for that 'You’re the One That I Want,' at the end," Travolta explained, "So I said, 'Well, we used to do the four corners. Why don't we do that?' Then the choreographer said 'Show it to me,' and I did.”
Fallon asked the two-time Oscar nominee to teach him the hip-swinging dance sequence ... and he did!
So, how did the late night host do? Let's just say, Olivia Newton-John better watch out, because Fallon caught on pretty quick.
