Celebrity Deaths of 2018

"You changed so many lives," writes Malone.

Rapper Post Malone is in mourning after the death of Mac Miller.

The "Better Now" rapper was one of the many in the music industry who turned to social media after hearing Miller passed away due to a suspected overdose at the age of 26.

"God f--king dammit. You were such an incredible person," he wrote on Twitter after hearing the news. "You changed so many lives. Had so much love in your heart. You inspired me throughout highschool, and I wouldn't be where I was today without you. Never a more kind and sincere and beautiful person. I f--king love you mac."

"We'll make that album one day bubba," he added in a separate tweet. "Miss you so much."

Miller told Rolling Stone last month that he and Malone had been "talking about doing an album" and the two had a jam session together, along with Frank Dukes and Thundercat. "It was beautiful," Miller said, "We were just having a great time."

The two had previously collaborated on DJ Drama's "Camera" in 2016, along with Lil Uzi Vert and FKi 1st.

Malone was hardly the only rapper who paid tribute to Miller on Friday. See more tweets below from fellow musicians and celebrity fans.
