BTS Spread Self-Love At U.N. General Assembly Youth Event

"Find your name and find your voice by speaking yourself," band member RM said.

BTS has a very positive, inclusive message to share with the youth of the world.

Speaking at the United Nations' 73rd General Assembly on Monday, the K-pop boy band promoted their "Love Myself" campaign in partnership with UNICEF.

"Let's all take one more step. We have learned to love ourselves, so I urge you to speak yourself," bandmember RM said. "No matter who you are, where you're from, your skin color or gender identity, speak yourself, find your name and find your voice by speaking yourself."

The K-pop idol also reminded young people to find their confidence and speak out on global issues.

Many fans took to Twitter to gush over the band's message of acceptance, with some sharing how BTS' music has positively impacted their lives.

The event focused on the launch of Generation Unlimited, a new UNICEF partnership that promises to offer quality education, training and employment to millions of young people worldwide by 2030.
