Halsey's new track, "Without Me," is her first single since she and G-Eazy broke up -- and seemingly got back together.
Hip-hop's hottest on-again, off-again couple Halsey and G-Eazy are seemingly on these days, and Halsey just dropped a song many people are speculating is about her rapper boo not being able to live without her.
The two shocked their fans when they broke up in July of this year. Although they had only been dating a few months, their relationship had already made its way into their music, and they collaborated on "Him & I" -- one of 2017's biggest hits.
Halsey hinted at some infidelity on G-Eazy's part, but it seems the two have since made amends. They've made several public appearances together since the split, including at award show after parties. She's also been seen living it up at his concerts -- plus, they're all over each other on social media.
The lyrics to Halsey's new song, "Without Me," has fans thinking the song was written during their split. The lyrics are too specific and the timing is too uncanny for that not to be the case.
"Tell me, how's it feel sittin' up there? Feeling so high, but too far away to hold me," she sings on the pop tune. "You know I'm the one who put you up there. Name in the sky, does it ever get lonely Thinking you could live without me. Thinking you could live without me. Baby, I'm the one who put you up there."
Iiiiinteresting. Veeeeery interesting.
