But the pranksters are figuring out how to end their elaborate ruse on this Sunday's "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."
In a preview for this Sunday's episode of "Keeping Up With The Kardashians," Scott and Khloe decide it's time to stop their elaborate Art Vandelay scheme, but not without one final escapade. To refresh, Kourtney's ex and baby True's mama created a fake artist as a ruse to shame Kris for being a know-it-all about art, as there have been multiple occasions throughout the season where the momager has been condescending about her art knowledge.
"Ooh, what is this?" Kris asks in the clip. "Wait, did your friend make those?"
"Yeah, the guy Art Vandelay," Scott replies. "Not really my friend, it's an artist that I know."
Kris gushes over the painting and asks Khloe if she wants her help finding an appropriate spot in her house.
"Okay, so we definitely have to tell Kris about the prank soon," Khloe points out in a confessional. "She's trying to get them appraised, this isn't gonna go well."
"We do have to break it to her that we're completely lying, art-shaming her and basically giving her fraudulent paintings," the father of three agrees.
Kris then shaded some of Khloe's real works of art, while holding the fake one.
"Ryan Seacrest would call those place holders," Kris says and Khloe replies, "She just art-shamed me again!"
"Wow, and she brought Ryan in the mix," Scott jokes.
In a confessional, Khloe and Scott agree that it's time to tell Kris the truth, but question when will be the best time to do it.
"Hopefully, she will be actually mad at us for this," Scott says, and Khloe adds, "I have no idea how Kris is gonna react, but I'm excited to see her expression.
We'll have to see how Scott and Khloe tell Kris the truth when "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" airs Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET on E!
