A new "Halloween" movie just plowed through the box office this past weekend, which means Michael Myers is here to haunt the nightmares of a whole new generation of children.

Jimmy Kimmel -- the sadistic genius that he is -- decided to see how kids would react to meeting the monstrous villain in real life, and lucky for us, he filmed the entire thing for Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Watch the video below to see all of the hilarious reactions (God forgive us).

The latest "Halloween" movie, which brought back Jamie Lee Curtis, made over $76 million at the box office this past weekend.

Celebrating the success Curtis tweeted on Sunday: "OK. I'm going for one BOAST post. Biggest horror movie opening with a female lead. Biggest movie opening with a female lead over 55. Second biggest October movie opening ever. Biggest Halloween opening ever. #womengetthingsdone @halloweenmovie."

Her tweet got the attention of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who replied: "Wow!! F--k yes!!! Raising the bar!!"

Curtis responded and said, "YOU @TheRock represent such creative integrity and have a high moral compass heading. Honored to get this unexpected shout out! We are all in this TOGETHER!"

"Beautiful words. Thank you so much Jamie Lee," Johnson replied back. "Means a lot coming from you sistah and we're all in it TOGETHER. And a HUGE congrats on the biggest horror movie opening of all time with a female lead. What an historic accomplishment."
