Amber vents about being treated with "f--king respect" by MTV before coming face to face with the show's newest cast members.

It was a meeting of the moms this week on "Teen Mom OG," as Bristol Palin and Cheyenne Floyd met Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Catelynn Lowell for the first time since joining the show.

Before the five met in NYC for a press day for the MTV series, however, they all expressed hesitation about interacting with the other girls. Maci was seen calling Catelynn to chat before they made their trip to the city, saying she thought it was going to be "awkward," but an improvement over their last costar.

"Having to hang out with anyone is better than having to hang out with Farrah," she said, referring to Farrah Abraham, who quit the show last season. Maci added it'd be hard to trust new people like she does Catelynn and Amber, and wanted to make it clear all the moms should have each other's backs.

When they arrived in NYC, Amber made it clear she wasn't thrilled MTV hired two new moms without consulting any of them first.

When the show's executive producer approached her in her greenroom, she told him, "Before we meet these girls, I think we all deserve -- since we didn't get our phone call -- we don't want another Farrah thing, departing yourself from us, not being together with us."

"This show to us is like family, we don't want it to feel like separated, she added, before asking for some "f--king respect." Amber also said the new girls made her feel like, "Are we doing something wrong thats not good enough anymore?"

"Hopefully we're not dealing with Farrah shit, but I don't think they're anything like that from what everyone's been saying," she continued. "It's simply the courtesy of letting the girls who've been doing this for 10 years, who built this franchise with them, know what's going on on their show."

The Farrah trash talk continued when they all sat down together, as Bristol explained how she and Maci had actually met once years prior, at a teen pregnancy event with Abraham.

"Yeah, when Farrah was somewhat nice," said Maci, a sentiment Bristol didn't necessarily agree with.

"She was still rude back then," she said. "I know people talk about me in such a negative way, so I give everyone the benefit of the doubt. So I watch the show [thinking] I feel bad for her, that must suck to feel like people hate you. But I feel like she really does choose to have enemies, all over."

"She feels like it's her way of shining through, she used to separate herself from us anytime we did anything," said Amber. Maci added that Farrah wouldn't even stay in the same hotel as the rest of them when she was on the show.

"I just want to like be cordial and friendly and have a good frickin' season without a crazy reunion," Amber said, as the moms did a toast to the show's future.

Following their meeting, Catelynn spilled her first impressions about the newbies to Tyler. While she thought Cheyenne was "really chill," she added that Bristol is "a little more conservative" than she's used to, but still "nice."

The New York trip was bookended by the moms' solo storylines -- get a brief rundown of those below:

  • Bristol and Dakota were fighting, again, this time over money. She accused him of stealing from her, while he chalked it up to a clerical error. "It's hard because his mentality is he's above the law and he can do whatever he wants," she vented to a friend. "Some of his posts online are scary to me. It's been a long two years ... I just hope this bullshit can be squashed and he can grow up." He, meanwhile, accused her of talking trash about him in front of the kids.

  • Tyler Baltierra celebrated as his father got out of rehab, got his driver's license and a new place. He also spoke to both of his parents about his sister, Amber, who was still in rehab herself. While his mom and dad expressed concern about her, Tyler simply called her "immature" and said he was both "tired" and "done" with her antics.

  • Maci learned that her first baby daddy, Ryan Edwards, was in rehab -- a choice he made himself. She hoped he'd stay there the full 90 days, so he'll finally "understand and realize the work he has to do there." She also said she wants him to come out "the Ryan everybody knows and loves," adding that "he's a goofy, funny, smart person ... when he's him."

  • Gary Shirley continued his quest to find his bio-dad, this week taking a blood test to see if his half-brother was really his full brother. The test came back negative, leaving Gary to believe he was at a "dead end" in his search. Amber, after feeling nauseus throughout the episode, ended it by taking another pregnancy test -- thankfully, in her mind, it came back negative.

"Teen Mom OG" airs Mondays on MTV.
