Stephen Amell Begs Dave Bautista 'Please Don't Kill Me' After Angering WWE Star in Accidental Twitter Beef

Ever wonder who would win in a fight between Drax The Destroyer and Green Arrow? We may be about to find out.

The ultimate Marvel vs DC Twitter feud kicked off on Tuesday — albeit accidentally — when Stephen Amell managed to insult Dave Bautista... and ended up begging for his life.

The scrap broke out when the "Arrow" star tweeted his excitement at the upcoming WrestleMania card, but with one issue.

"Just landed and found out about @DaveBautista v @TripleH — Really pumped for the match but also don't want to see a celebrity angle detract from an awesome wrestling card," he tweeted.

Amell was concerned Bautista's newfound fame as a Guardian Of The Galaxy would overshadow the No Holds Barred match-up between the WWE legends at next months's highly-anticipated PPV event.

But the man they call The Animal — who boasts an undefeated MMA record of 1-0 — was left frothing at the thumbs.

"Considering that celebrity could actually f--k someone up, and that celebrity is a former 6x heavyweight champ, and that celebrity is there because he loves it, maybe it just adds to the card," he tweeted. "Maybe."

At 6'1" and 180lbs, Amell is no straw-weight. But compared to Bautista's 6'3" and 290lb frame, there was only route to take — and that was backwards.

"Hey Dave -- I went out of my way to introduce myself to you in Atlanta at a convention so I could tell you what a big fan of yours I am. You couldn't have been more pleasant," Amell quickly tweeted in reply.

"My tweet was meant to poke fun at me. It clearly wasn't funny," he added. "Please don't kill me."
