22-year-old Jimena Navarrete of Guadalajara, Mexico is the new Miss Universe.
Showing off her confidence in a violet swimsuit and gorgeous flowing red gown, Navarrette won last night's pageant -- held at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.
Navarrete replaces Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez of Venezuela -- stopping the country's two-year winning streak.
Besides the crown, Jimena's winnings also include an undisclosed salary, a luxury New York apartment with living expenses, a one-year scholarship to the New York Film Academy with housing after her reign, plus jewelry, clothes and shoes.
