You don't have to be stick thin to look sexy in a swimsuit -- and Nicole Di Rocco's new line is designed to make any woman look like a star on the beach.
In an interview with TooFab, Di Rocco says the inspiration behind her flirty, pattern-filled designs is a fictional character named "Nicolita" who represents her Cuban roots.
Nicole says she hopes to "be an inspiration to other girls and women who are looking to find the true soul of their heritage" with her line, which is also called Nicolita.
Di Rocco's roots run deep: Last year she returned to her homeland with her parents and her designs while filming a seven-part series, "Pastport: Cuba," that will debut Nov. 7 at 9 p.m. EST on Si TV. She tells us it was an "emotional" trip but "it gives people a chance to actually experience Cuba."
