Last night, the first finalist was eliminated from "American Idol" -- and while Karen Rodriguez, Haley Reinhart and Ashthon Jones were all in the bottom three, it was Jones who was sent packing.
The 24-year-old retail manager from Nashville, TN was booted after her performance of Diana Ross' "When You Tell Me That You Love Me" and was criticized for her song choice.
Jones herself said she regretted not picking a more popular song.
