Nicole Richie has added a new reality show to her resume -- but the blonde by her side this time is Jessica Simpson!
Richie, who first entered the reality genre with Paris Hilton on "The Simple Life," has joined the new NBC show "Fashion Star," according to an official press release.
The show will hunt for "the next big brand in fashion" and Richie will act as mentor to the contestants, a la 'The Voice," alongside Simpson and designer John Varvatos. Elle Macpherson will host.
Richie's background in fashion includes her House of Harlow jewelry line, Winter Kate ready-to-wear collection and a maternity line for Pea in the Pod.
Setting it apart from shows like "Project Runway," "Fashion Star" will make it possible for viewers at home to buy the winning designs each week, whether they're dresses or lingerie.
