"Cruel Intentions" taught us just how cruel high school kids can be.
Today, Selma Blair, from the 1999 teen flick turns 40 years old!
In this wicked adaptation of "Dangerous Liaisons," Selma plays the sweet and naïve Cecile, who is seduced by Ryan Phillippe's character, Sebastian, in a vicious plot to help his stepsister (Sarah Michelle Gellar) destroy her ex's relationship. At the same time, Sebastian is trying to bed the virtuous Annette (Reese Witherspoon) to win a callous bet.
The film started out with a small budget, but it featured some of Hollywood's biggest stars today! Since "Cruel Intentions," Selma has gone on to star in a string of movies like "The Sweetest Thing," "Hellboy" and "Legally Blonde" with co-star Reese Witherspoon.
