Miley Cyrus looks gorgeous in the September issue of Marie Claire -- where she opens up about her engagement with Liam Hemsworth and proudly shows off her ring!
Calling the proposal a "complete surprise" to both her and her parents, Miley tells the mag she also "had no input" on her vintage ring.
"We'd been kind of talking about [getting engaged], and I saw something like it online at one point and thought it was really pretty, but I usually wear rose gold," she adds. "I just love that it's old and has a story. And I'm happy because it doesn't look like anything else I wear.”
“Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with," she says of Liam. "I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other. And we want to have a long engagement.”
The 19-year-old actress/singer says she and her fiance "have a really good relationship, neither of us is super-jealous. We know each other and would never do anything to hurt each other.”
