Sylvester Stallone appeared on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" Wednesday night, where he opened up about the death of his son Sage from an apparent overdose last month at age 36.
Leno asked the "Expendables 2" star if promoting the movie helps keep his mind off of the tragedy.
"Yeah, when life hits you pretty hard you can either go into a dark corner or you can say, 'Okay, fine, I'm going to find something to focus on," Stallone bravely replied. See what Sly had to say about his son below:
Sage starred alongside his father in "Rocky V" and "Daylight."
"The Expendables 2" opens in theaters this Friday, August 17.
