With the "Paranormal Activity" franchise going into its fourth flick, the filmmakers are starting to find some inventive new ways to shoot the so-called "found footage."
A brand new trailer was just released for "Paranormal Activity 4" and it sheds a lot more light onto the plot of the movie.
This time around a creepy young boy is taken in by his neighbors after his mother is hospitalized ... and soon after, things begin to go bump in the night.
The movie looks like it tries to tie all the pieces of the last films together, as we see glimpses of the witchcraft symbols from Part 3, a reference to Hunter in Part 2 and a shot of what looks like Katie from Part 1.
So .. how are the teens in peril documenting the weird happenings this time?
MacBook webcams and, oddly enough, XBox Kinect tracking replace the security cameras and old fashioned camcorders of the previous installments -- a clear sign this one takes place in 2011.
Check out the trailer above. Do you think they'll tie up all the loose ends ... or will there be an inevitable Part 5?
