2013 is going to be a BIG year for movies -- with Johnny Depp, Tom Cruise and Will Smith all starring in the biggest releases of the year.
And today, we've got brand new trailers for all three of their flicks!
This morning, Disney released their second preview for "The Lone Ranger" starring Armie Hammer and Depp.
The longer clip gives us a better understanding of the Ranger's supernatural backstory, a shot of a horse in a tree and a lot of Depp's Tonto, who will clearly steal the show as much as Jack Sparrow does in the "Pirates of the Caribbean" flicks.
"The Lone Ranger" is due July 3, 2013.
The trailers for Cruise and Smith's upcoming flicks are very similar -- with both taking place in post--apocalyptic versions of Earth.
In Cruise's movie, "Oblivion," Tom stars as a repairman who fixes downed drones on what's left of Earth following an alien attack.
The trailer is very stylish, with "Tron: Legacy" director Joe Kosinski once again creating a sleek, futuristic world. Does he have you hooked?
"Oblivion" opens April 12, 2013.
And finally, Will Smith stars opposite his son Jaden in "After Earth," which finds the father-son duo crashing onto Earth after it's been overrun by strange creatures.
This is the first time the two have acted together since "The Pursuit of Happyness," which garnered a ton of critical acclaim. Will they be as lucky this time around taking a sci-fi route?
The movie is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who hasn't had the best track record recently.
"After Earth" opens June 7, 2013.
And while this trailer is a little older, there's one more BIG star with a huge movie next year: Brad Pitt.
His "World War Z" definitely sounds like one of the most ambitious zombie movies ever -- but it's been plagued by re-shoots. The footage in the first trailer looks impressive, even a little overly reliant on CGI. Check it out below:
